Assalamualaikum and hello my beautiful people!

Oh, Happy Chinese New Year to those who celebrating and... Happy holidays for those who aren't celebrating? Wait, tomorrow's a workday. LOL. Anyways.

Gold is in trend right now for lifting, firming skin kinda stuff. I am 28 years old so I need some lift ya know. So yeah. Let's get started!

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Bio-Essence 24k Bio-Gold Water helps them to remain timelessly beautiful, keeping your skin youthful despite your busy and stressful work schedules. Gold is a symbol of youth; in ancient times, it was sued by queens and royal beauties to preserve their youthfulness and glamour. With its exceptional benefits, it has proven itself as the ideal product for everlasting youth even until today.

Bio-Gold Water is understood as an essence/lotion/serum. It is as light as water and absorbs so quickly. It contains a high amount of pure gold flakes up to 98%, which is greatly effective at enhancing the skin's metabolism rate and stimulating cell renewal. It also hydrates your skin, and there is no residue or stickiness left behind!

Apply this twice a day, morning and night. Simply after cleansing, pour out a sufficient amount into your palm, then proceed to spread it over your face and neck and slowly pat it in till fully absorbed.

Benefits:

FINE PORES - Tightens enlarged pores for a smooth fine texture
FIRM & SUPPLE SKIN - Improves skin's elasticity to prevent sagging
WRINKLE DEFYING - Plumps skin up to defy wrinkles and fine lines
SEBUM BALANCING - Regulates moisture and sebum balance, leaving skin even and matte
ENERGIZED - Skin looks youthful and healthy
LUMINOUS RADIANCE - Restores a naturally glowing complexion

With all these factors combined, achieving your dream perfect skin is easy!

Direction for Use: Use Twice daily - every morning and night. After cleansing, pour a sufficient amount onto the palm and pat it gently on the face until fully absorbed. Suitable for all skin types.

REVIEW

I have been using this product for 25 days, yes I keep tracked of it using My Day app. Hahaha sonang. Anyways, In less than 2 weeks I can already see things happenin' on muh face.

So I was strollin' 'round in Watson's and of course, there's no place like Watson's and Guardian... LOL. They're my 2 fave place of all fricking time. Other than Sephora. OK. Hahaha. I was pretty intrigued with this gold-infused product since I watched Glam Life Guru, Tati's review on the Guerlain gold primer thingy. She mentioned something about gold can make stuff happen on your face and you can actually see in the video, it was fricking amazing. So yeah since I watched that, I felt like I needed some gold in muh life. LOL.

I came across the Bio-Essence 24K Bio-Gold range and I was like, man I should buy one. Before this I wanted to try the range but it was pretty pricey for me. Like fricking pricey. It was like more than my average price. Hahaha. Then I saw the travel bottle of the Gold Water (it was around 25 bucks) and it wasn't as expensive as the 150ml bottle, which costs about 98 bucks. Yes. FRICKING 98. FOR A FRICKING TONER. I think it's a toner. Anyways. I grabbed that mofo and now let's story story.

I don't really set high expectation on this product just because... I don't know. I really don't, to be honest because it was like gold water? What the heck is gold water?

First impression: Nice packaging, looks pretty expensive. Opened the top and it was like your average toner thingy the round thingy? Ok. It was so fricking inconvenience as it is a gel texture and it was pretty hard to get product out of the fricking bottle. Used it as recommended (twice a day, morning and night), it was quite nice on the skin. The first few days I don't apply that much because this stuff sinks so fast into your skin. Felt pretty good though.

That. Whatchamacallit?

10 days after, felt a huge difference. Pores aren't large like usual. Don't know if it's the effect of using my 2 fave masks (Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask and Mario Badescu Temporary Lifting Mask). Oh and there was a day that I actually forgot to apply moisturizer and primer and surprisingly, it looked kinda okay. Like I don't need a pore-filling primer at all. Usually if I forgot to use primer, my foundation would look so fricking bad because it's emphasizing any large pores I have around my cheeks area. My face felt a lot smoother and firmer than before. I felt... 16 again... LULZ. But no fam, I am damn serious.

Tiny little speck of gold, when you blend in into your skin it's not gonna be visible on your skin

I have oily skin and then again, surprisingly the amount of oil coming through wasn't as much as before. Am I getting older? But yeah, I can actually feel that my skin gotten so much better. Of course I have few pimples here and there but it wasn't cystic acne (YAYYY) and usually if I was PMS-ing, my skin can look pretty dull and just mehh but I have like good skin for weeks. I am not shitting you. For weeks man, great skin all the fricking way. Foundation application is a lot smoother, everything is fricking awesome. And those pimples were like fast fast gone one.

So it claims to:-

FINE PORES - Tightens enlarged pores for a smooth fine texture
(UHUM YAAASSSS)
FIRM & SUPPLE SKIN - Improves skin's elasticity to prevent sagging
(UHUM YAAASSSSSSSS)
WRINKLE DEFYING - Plumps skin up to defy wrinkles and fine lines
(PRETTY MUCH YAAAASSSSS)
SEBUM BALANCING - Regulates moisture and sebum balance, leaving skin even and matte
(HECK YAAAAAAASSSSSS)
ENERGIZED - Skin looks youthful and healthy
(YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS)
LUMINOUS RADIANCE - Restores a naturally glowing complexion
(NO SHIT, YAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSS)

Final thoughts: You may thought it sounded like crap, like Gold Water, who's gonna buy that but oh my damn I can't even. If you were late 20s and above (he he T_T), I recommend you guys to try it. It's amazing. Anything with gold in it is just awesome. If I'm not mistaken, Cleopatra's beauty secret is putting gold on her face as a sleeping mask? I could be wrong but hey I wanna be pretty like fricking Cleopatra. LOL. It's just a "toner" but after using it for almost a month I can assure you that this product is the bomb. I would totally repurchase it and I would really love to try their serum and eye cream. I already repurchased this, I bought the 150ml bottle but I was lucky it was on sale. Haha!

Like I said earlier, the bottle is pretty inconvenient, so I transferred some into a little pump bottle. So much easier and no hustle yaww

Okay my fave thing to do, let's do some math. Okay so you only need like a pea and half size for all over your face and neck. The travel bottle is 30ml, I've been using it for almost a month and it was like tinggal few drops lah. So kira 30ml for 1 month. 150ml bottle costs around RM97.90.

150ml/30ml = 5 months
RM97.90/5months = RM19.58/month

So, RM19.58/month wasn't that bad even though you have to pay more but don't worry, it's fricking worth it. Watch out for discounts and whatnot, I bought it at Guardian pharmacy for RM68.48, so divided by 5 is about RM13.70/month. LOL

Update 14/09/2016: Still have some product left in the pump bottle. I am at 8 months mark now. I think it can go up to 9 because I still have like half of product in the bottle. :O You guys, my skin has never been better, I do not have to use pore filling primer anymore. I can see that my pores aren't as deep as before. They're still visible of course but not as deep. Go try the travel size, the 30ml bottle. I use it twice a day, morning and night and it has made lots of difference. I can feel it. Go try it now!

Let's calculate again if it could last for 9 months:-
RM97.90/9 = RM10.88/month

I don't want you guys to pening but go grab one at your nearest Guardian! Much cheaper than at Watson's LOL. AND NO, NOT SPONSORED OKAY?????????????????????

Rating: ★★★★☆
