Review: Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara

Assalamualaikum and hello my beautiful ladies and gents.


So if you guys have been following me on social media, you guys would that I was like uhm obsessing over this mascara? LOL. Takde lah obsess but I kinda use it everytime I go out and whatnot so basically I am kinda obsessed. Hah.

Without further ado, let's just get into it.

REVIEW

So I bought the limited edition packaging because come on man. It's stinking gorgeous! And yeah unicorns are fricking overrated but if it's cute, I'm on it man. I have never tried the original one, which is just the same as this mascara, just different packaging LOL but the reviews are actually okay so... Okay.

I know what I said before, I do not purchase high end mascaras but you know what, if the packaging is cute, why the heck not. LOL. I'm a cheapo but holy cow it is so cute!

So I actually straight away used this mascara a day after I got it because I was curious like best sangat ke kan mascara ni sebab good reviews and all. I mean Jen from Tarte from macam suka gila pakai and her lashes are like so long and she's so gorg. Ok lari topik. Tapi tulah tengok dia pakai tu yang aku pon sibuk nak try jugak kot boleh lawa macam dia ke kan asidojalskdas

I forgot to take a photo of the wand but the wand is a plastic wand and a bit tajam-tajam la so be careful. LOL. But I like the wand, dia macam tak serabut sangat. Entah macam mana nak citer tah LOL

So first impression, I really liked it. It separates my lashes pretty well and I don't know. I like it. But this is more of a natural look lashes kinda mascara. It won't give you so much volume like other mascaras but it has enough volume in it so your lashes takde lah nampak dull af pon I guess. LOL.

Well let's demo demo. I actually forgot to take before pic but whatever you guys know how my lashes look like before mascara kan pfffft

1 coat of the mascara was quite nice. Really separates the lashes really and give a lil bit of umpph but not too much.

2 coats of mascara, the mascara gives more volume and lashes still look umppphhh

3 coats of mascara can look a lil clumpy but still looks fine for me at least!

So I actually wore it through out the day but unfortunately this mascara is soooo smudgyyyyy after few hours! I was so disappointed because I love the way it looks on my lashes and whatnot but at the end of the day, I look like a fricking racoon. So if I wanted the mascara last longer, I put on a non smudgy mascara after I applied the Tarte mascara.

Final thoughts: I really like this mascara despite it is smudgy af, I feel like my lashes look so fricking awesome with it. I'm not sure if I'm gonna repurchase it, I don't really buy high end mascaras so yeah. But it's okay. Sis suka.
