Assalamualaikum and good day ladies!
So, I've always wanted the beautyblender thingy because everyone loves them so much... Like OMG. Haruslah aku sibuk nak jugak, siap masuk dalam wishlist. But deep down aku tau aku takkan beli sebab agak mahal lah. Oh well, hahaha. Ada je makeup sponge much cheaper but I mean come on. I want a fricking beautyblender, not the fake one. Ok. I no wear fake stuff.
So hujung March hari tu, Luxola ada sale gila babi punya so I was like, okay let's see lah what stuff we can buy. And I see this beautiful girl, ON EFFIN SALE. I think it was like 35% or something, I don't know but that's kinda good deal. It was 78 bucks! I mean come on. Terus aku click ADD TO CART and I have never regret that decision, like ever.
I do have other makeup sponge which is the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I love that sponge. Even though there was some cons (will share in a bit), but I really love it. So yea. I'm gonna start with the Real Techniques one because I've had it since last year...I think.

Okay so this sponge is like multi-functional. Ada rounded side, precision tip & a flat side. So you can do almost anything with this sponge but I only use it to put on foundation. I don't really use cream blush/contour/bronzer/highlight so I don't know. Also it says on the website "made from polyurethane foam which is latex free". Anyone yang allergic to latex, boleh lah try this sponge. Plus it's cheap. It's like 6 bucks in the US. Kat sini boleh dapat around RM35 macam tu.
Like the beautyblender, this sponge juga membesaq bila direndam dengan air. Usually kalau aku apply foundation, aku basahkan this sponge and then perah sampai takde air keluar. Kira bagi dia damp lah. Kalau basah sangat kang habis lah foundation tak full coverage~
I really love this sponge, since it is cheaper dupe for beautyblender. I enjoy using this. It's not like it's an exact dupe but you don't really need an expensive makeup sponge. As long as it does not soak up too many products then should be ok.
Okay, the cons. This sponge soaks up a lot. I feel like I have to pump more foundation for better coverage. Kalau cuci this sponge pon memang air cekelat uols. See, the cons tak banyak mana pon okay. Hahaha. Ikut orang lah. But I really love this sponge. I will repurchase it, soon. Coz I think mine's already lebih 6 months... LOL.

Now, can we talk about this baby? I decided to get the black one because it's black...? LOL. Kalau kotoq pon takdelah obvious sangat. Kahkah. It says on the website here can use it with primers, foundations, cream products blablabla. I don't really know what's the difference between the pink and the black one (there's also white, purple & red, dammit and little green ones) but they mentioned here the black one is for pigmented products and pink one is for the basic ones. Kot. LOL.
Since I use this baby, damn son. You can never go back. I do love my RT sponge but I love this more. Even though this thing quite pricey but it is worth every penny. And can we talk about the blender cleanser solid that came with it? Oh my gosh. You take your dirty brush, you swipe swipe, you wash wash, your brush already clean! I don't know what they put in that cleanser but it's damn good I tell ya.
But of course, as a cheapskate mestilah aku sayang nak pakai brush cleanser mahal. Bahaha. Maka dengan itu, aku google and some people cakap pakai Dove Beauty Bar pon sama je macam pakai solid cleanser tu and I tried it and damn memang takyah beli pon blendercleanser tu. Dove Beauty Bar baru RM2.60 dekat Speedmart. Tahan lama jugak. Kihkih.
The cons? It's pricey. LOL. And the fact that it doesn't soak up products, it makes the sponge quite hard to soak up water. Yela nak bagi dia damp pon a bit hard. But other than that, LOVE IT. LOVE IT SO EFFIN MUCH~

Overall, I really do love these sponges even though the beautyblender is better but don't care. LOL.
Update: Forgot to mention, these two sponges has really different textures. For me to compare them both, macam takde beza sangat. For me lah.
