August-September 2016 Favourites

Assalamualaikum and hello gorgeous people!

Hahahahah I know I should post this on Sunday but I'm just super lazy and not inspired... LOL

Sorry I didn't share August faves but no worries, I combine August and September for this round kayh? Hohoho. I have lots of products to share with you guys tonight... So yeah. Let's start!

1. Sukin Antioxidant Eye Serum
Link: Sukin , Makeup AlleyGemfive

I bought this few months ago and it is a very thick and creamy eye serum? LOL. I don't know man. But I really love it. I hate thick eye creams but this one is an exception. I don't know but I just love it. Oh and this is a large bottle, 30ml babe. Selalu eye cream ke eye serum mesti 15ml je kan? Hah memang setahun kemudian pon tak habis ni aku rasa *emoji gelak menangis*

2. Paula's Choice RESIST 10% Niacinamide Booster
Link: Paula's Choice , Makeup Alley , Worthee Cosmetics , Gold Water Review

I talked about this product on my Instagram a week ago. It's a mind blowing product. It keeps my face in tact (LOL) I mean it controls sebum production. Usually kalau dah after 4 hours, my face kadang-kadang boleh jadi disco ball but whenever I use this even if I use dewy foundation, my foundation would stay on and not melting at all. Entah aku pon taktau nak explain macam mana but dang this stuff is so fricking good. Niacinamide is actually Vitamin B3 so mana-mana serum vitamin B3 is niacinamide so the function sama je. Another thing I noticed when I use this booster, it kinda shrinks my pores... I'm not kidding you. I always use it with Bio-Essence Gold Water, I don't know why but they are amazing together. You know what, I will post a full review on it soon. I don't want to story more now but I highly recommend this mofo.

3. Lipidol Overnight Face Oil
Link: Lipidol , Guardian

So yeah you know that face oil is in trend now and I don't know why I got sucked into it as well even though I have oily combination skin. LOL. But I never have any issues using this oil, in fact I really like it. I use 2 drops every night on my cheeks and chin area (the drier part of my face) and my skin has been great. Looove it.

4. Sephora Collection Face Konjac Cleansing Sponge
Link: Sephora

So I raved about this konjac sponge a while ago and holy crap I cannot start, you see if I started I cannot STOP talking about it. It is revolutionary and it's soft and squishyyyy eeeeee best sangat. If you guys have sensitive skin, this is the stuff for you. You don't even have to apply cleanser on your skin, just use this and it just made your skin super soft and smooth. It is hard when it's dry and when you put it under water and it gets squishy and ahhhh best sangat! It's not harsh at all! Looooveeeee it I cannot stop using it it's the best exfoliating sponge I have ever used.

5. The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Solid Oil Lip Balm
Link: The Body Shop

Okay, this is a pricey lip balm. I bought this when it was on sale but it is still pricey af. This is not like any other lip balms that I have, since it is a "solid oil lip balm" the consistency is quite thick. I personally like the consistency because it's not slippery like any other lip balms I have. I don't know. There's something about it. I've been using it for a few months now and I think I've used half of the jar. LOL. Loove it!

6. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer (Original/Radiance)
Link: Laura Mercier

I recently bought the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance (for my clients) and the LM girl gave me few samples of the Original one. Holy crap, I really like the Original primer, it made my foundation looked smooth and flawless. I'm not kidding you. It's quite long lasting on me at least. I have oily combo skin but it's never an issue with me. The Radiance one is also long lasting and I like it as well. It's just ahhh pretty and flawless. Worth every penny.

7. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation
Link: Make Up For EverSephora

Again, bought this foundation for my clients. I bought 2 shades - 117 & 170. If any of my clients are in between, I just mixed the shades together. This foundation is a medium coverage but I really love the skin finish. It's not dewy, not matte. It's just perfect. I really love it. For oily skin, you might need to set it with mattifying powder. I will post the full review soon okay? :*

8. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer
Link: Review

Ahhh, this concealer that everybody loves. Well me loves it too. I love the natural finish, the coverage is quite good. Not bad at all. Well, of course I story more in my review. Go check em out.

9. Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray
Link: Urban Decay , Sephora

Okay, I only bought this spray because some makeup artists use it to prep client's skin instead of using moisturizer. So this spray is "a soothing prep spray that features the first stabilized form of vitamin B6, which absorbs oil, minimizes pores, and reduces redness." It made my foundation goes a lot smoother and flawless. I used this spray on my clients and their skin just looked so flawless. I don't know man I used lots of products on my clients but there wasn't any issue like blotchiness ke apa ke. I really like it. It's quite moisturizing as well so if you have clients yang tak pakai moisturizer, you can spritz this on their faces. PZZZZ

#TIL Vitamin B6 is actually for preventing and treating acne. Read more here

10. Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray
Link: Sephora

So I bought this with the Urban Decay B6 spray during my Urban Decay workshop and I have the All-Nighter setting spray but since I have oily skin, I figured I just buy this one full size bottle and I did not regret that decision. Definitely not a mattifying spray but it held my makeup pretty good.

11. Urban Decay Vice Lipstick - Weirdo (Cream finish)
Link: Sephora

Wanted to try Urban Decay lipstick since it's a bit cheaper than Mac lipsticks (it's RM78 now, gila ke #cheapo). Huhu. So I decided to buy this Weirdo shade, it's a cream finish. It's a baby pink shade, a bit of white based in it. I always use it together with Catrice Lipliner in That's What Rose Wood Do.

12. Glitters from @glitters.my_
Link: Instagram

Wow I haven't play with these glitters in a long ass time but it has been a favourite for the past two months. The consistency is A, texture is A. This is an awesome product! Actually one of the founders is my MUA masa majlis bertandang. Great MUA with affordable service, go check her out - Instagram Amirah Azlan. She's a babe, she's awesome and super helpful!

I bought 4 shades but she gave me extra 1 to play around. I still haven't got the time to play around with it. It's in the shade Pontian Periwinkle. Of course I will update on Instagram once I use that one okay? Hohoho.

They are pressed glitters so you don't have to apply glitter glue before using it. They're super easy to use, just scoop it out using a concealer brush and sapu like butter. Trust me it's damn easy but you guys gotta be careful lah sikit, glitters tend to have fall out so do your eye makeup before your face ke apa ke huhuhu. I applied too much the other day so I got it all over my face. Hahaha but no ragrets honey. The colors are just super gorg!

Looks I've done with the glitters:-

Latte Labuan

Ledang Light Gold

Rembau Rose

Pendang Peach

13. Essence Gel Eye Pencil Waterproof
Link: Ulta (coz I can't find any links from Essence website)

I think this is a new product from Essence, well maybe not new but new in Malaysia I guess? This is a gel eye pencil, it's very creamy and it's damn waterproof. It's not smudgy on me but I always set my eyeliners with black/brown eyeshadows just to keep them long lasting. I really looove using this pencil, it is retractable. Oh you know what? Masa mula-mula beli tu I didn't know it's retractable and I sharpened it. Then pelik kenapa susah sgt nak sharp lepas tu top dia jadi hilang jahahasodijklda bodoh sungguh rasa waktu tu. So yeah. I learnt my lesson and I bought two more, one for my clients and one to replace the sharpened retractable pencil. Iasoudhjaskldasdkal dammit Pah jadi bimbo kejap. It's quite cheap so that's why I bought it again I don't wanna waste my time using the broken one auishdjkasdlasjkdasjdl

14. Maybelline The Magnum Barbie Mascara
Link: Review

Posted a full review on it and if you guys haven't read it, go check it out okay?! Ughhhh I really love this mascara. I usually hate fiber mascaras but this one is just superb! It's one of those mascaras I am considering to repurchase, like hell I even bought an oil-based makeup remover for this mofo. See how much I am willing to sacrifice for this mascara?!?!?!

15. Nyx Tinted Brow Mascara - Brunette
Link: Nyx Cosmestics

This is one of the best brow gel I've ever used. I don't know man I really love it. I'm planning to buy a lighter shade for everyday. It's damn good. Recommended. It's RM40, still in the "affordable" pile compared to Benefit Gimme Brow. Kate Eyebrow Color pon RM33.90 alah tak banyak beza pon. It's good. Trust me. LOL. It's good enough.

16. Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara
Link: Essence

Now this mascara has been raved by Romana (myromana) and she really loves this mascara so I'm like of course I have to try it kan and no ragrets man, I really love this mascara. This mascara macam open your eyes gituuuu. It's very pretty. And then if I wanted more curly lashes, I would use Clio Salon de Cara on top. Ahhh these combinations are super marvelous. Loooove the effect.

17. Glade Automatic Spray - Lavender & Vanilla
Link: Glade

Super random, recently bought this spray and holy heck it smells so fricking good. I mean I can only smell the vanilla but not the lavender but I don't care??? It smells soooo fricking gooooood!!!! I personally love vanilla and lavender scent and ahhhhhhhh I LOVE THIS

18. Coles Tomato Salsa
Link: Coles

I love salsa, I tried the Santa Maria Mexican Salsa but it's quite mild. I mean it's too mild. I don't eat spicy stuff but I need a lil bit of kick ya know? Anyways, my husband went to Australia recently and he bought me these Coles Tomato Salsa. He said it was stinking cheap and he knows I really love salsa so he bought them for me. And I tried the Mild one first and hot damn, it was dang delish. I mean it's just delicious. I don't know man! It's damn good! Now I am crying because this brand is definitely not available in Malaysia so I have to find other salsas here that are delicious and not super pricey. Uwaaaa. So sad.

Other Random Shit

I'm starting to listen to Billy Talent again, they came out with new album. I haven't listen it yet but I just love them. The previous albums are my favourite and yeah. *thumbs up*

So that is all for tonight. Hahaha.

Thank you for reading.

Stay gorgeous! <3
