Review: Sleek Face Form

Assalamualaikum and hello my lovely readerssss

LOL. Okay I know I missed Sunday update... Sebab aku malas... Lepas tu I've got so many things to do. "Things". I don't know what I did. HAHAHHAHAHA. I was supposed to update it yesterday but you know... Things were just piling up... So... Yeah.

Anyways, it's Tuesday. Ya know what it is. Tonight, it's all about the Sleek Face Form. This palette is pretty convenient because it has a blush, highlighter & a contour shade. Pretty much everything. LOL.

PRODUCT INFO

Face Form is the sister product of the Face Contour Kit.

With multi-tasking elements such as contour powder, highlighter and/or blusher or bronzer, Face Form is the ultimate face definition kit in one neat compact designed to suit all skintones. Face Form in Light is ideal for light skin tones. Use in conjunction with Crème To Powder foundation for a flawless finish. Combinations, ranging from light to dark. Please note: Face Form in Fair and Light come with contour powder, highlighter and blush. Face Form in Medium and Dark come available with contour powder, highlighter and a bronzer.

HOW TO

1. Prep your skin ensuring face and neck are clean and dry.

2. Apply foundation of choice to create a smooth and even complexion.

3. To achieve great cheek definition, using a small contour brush, apply the contour powder, starting from the ear and gently blending torwards the direction of your mouth, building definition as desired and blending as you to go, to ensure all lines are soft.

4. a) For Face Form in Fair/Light apply blush to apples of cheeks using contour brush or blush brush, ensuring you blend as you go, erasing all hard lines.

b) For Face Form in Medium/Dark apply bronzer to cheeks, nose, forehead and chin sparingly to add that sunkissed look.

5. Finally, apply the highlighter lightly to the apples of the cheeks for a highlighted contour creating soft, yet defined and sculpted cheekbones.

REVIEW

Okay, so I bought it in August this year and now it's almost November so I think it is time for me to write a review on this product. Also will do some demo. So you guys can scroll down lah later. I was quite shocked bila aku tengok dekat Makeup Alley, this palette dapat 4.1 out of 5 weh. That's quite high lah sebab dia past 4. Hahahaha.

Okay so this palette contains blush, highlight and contour. So basically you can bring this anywhere if you go travelling and whatnot because it has everything you need in a small palette.

This palette has a few different shades; Fair, Light, Medium & Dark. As far as I know, Fair & Light comes with a blush and Medium & Dark comes with bronzer instead of blush. I really love the packaging, it is quite "Sleek". Hahahhaa. Like the brand name lah kan. And the quality is quite good.

Swatchy swatchy

Contour shade: Medium warm brown. It is too warm for my liking, so sometimes I use this as bronzer. I don't really see it as a contour shade because it is quite warm on me. You can see down here, my face looks a bit orange because of the contour shade. Huhuh.

Highlight shade: Light peachy tone kinda highlight. It's not white, it's peachy. But not that peachy macam Betty Lou Manizer by The Balm. That one lagi peachy if I'm not mistaken. I really really really love the highlight shade. It is gorgeouussssss. The right amount of shimmer. On freaking point.

Blush shade: I am confused by the shade actually, it's pink I think with gold shimmer in it. To be completely honest with you guys, I hate hate hate hate shimmery blushes. And this one is in my hate list. It's a beautiful blush topper, not a blush. Your cheeks will look like a fucking Christmas ball. Well at least that's what I think of it. It's a beautiful shade, but I don't like it. If it is matte or satin, maybe I'll enjoy it. Too shimmery for my liking.

I really love the texture of this palette. It is quite soft and blendable, feels so smooth on your fingers when you swatch em. But one thing that caught me off guard a bit, the scent. It has some kind of a scent that I don't really know how to explain but I'm pretty sure it smells like something iron-y. Not irony, but iron-y. LOL. Well I just looked at the ingredients above it does have Iron Oxide... So... Yeah. I think the smell came from there. LOL.

So I did full face with the Sleek Face Form in Light as below.

Let's start with blank canvas aka muka tak siap

(It's not that blank. I already applied my foundation & eyebrows on LOL)

Contour shade only, I know I looked like a drag queen but we're gonna blend it later ok

Basically everything. Contour, blush, highlight, not blended.

The blush wasn't really pigmented because like I said it's full with gold shimmer so I mixed it with Essence Silky Touch Blush in Summer Dreaming.

Also applied the contour shade in muh crease and the highlight shade on muh lids

Final thoughts: This palette is worth every penny. It is RM59.50 on Luxola but you can always get them on sale. Luxola selalu gila sale ok. Hahhahahahhaha. It's a plus lah sebab dia kecik and easy to travel with. Only the blush jela, if you guys are okay with shimmery blushes should be no problem lah kot. I use this quite often, I really love the highlight shade. It is BOMB. How can you not love this palette, it literally has everything. Contour, highlight, blush. So yeah. Recommended for people yang suka contour and travel. LOL.
