REVIEW

This is not a night cream but I've read some reviews online that it is a thick cream and not suitable for daytime. So I was like, okay maybe I should just buy it. I mentioned in my previous faves post that my skin had bad reactions towards the Olay night cream that I used before, only used it a like a full 1-2 weeks before I realized it was the cause of my cystic acnes. Then I decided to just buy new night cream but I didn't want to repurchase The Body Shop one because I wanted to try other brands. Heh.

I have tried other Hada Labo's moisturizer but it wasn't as thick as this cream so I wasn't expecting it to be super thick. The texture is quite similar with The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream because it has a bit of oil in the ingredients so it's quite slippery and sticky.

For the first few weeks, my skin didn't have issues with it so I assume it got along well with the ingredients. Now, this cream claims to be lifting and firming. Uhm... I'm not so sure. I used lots of products everyday and most of them are for lifting and firming so I'm not sure which one cause that? LOL. But I do notice a huge difference when I use the Bio-Essence 24k Bio-Gold Gold Water.

It doesn't have a scent but it has uhm... Hada Labo's cream scent? I don't know, they all smell the same. LOL. Oh this jar has 50g of product and it is retailed for RM74. Yes, it's quite pricey and it is more expensive than The Body Shop one. But if you're always go to Watson's and Guardian you would know that they're always on sale. Well not all day err day lah, they will always have special offers and stuff. So I recommend you guys to buy when it is on sale. The lowest price you could get is maybe around 20% - RM59 something. It's not that bad. I was desperate the other day and I actually bought the full price. Haih skin emergency. Cannot wait for sale lor.

This cream has lasted for me for quite a while now, I think it has passed 2 months already and I still have a lot. Usually for my night routine, I apply this cream and if I need extra umpphhh, I would apply Lipidol Overnight Face Oil. This oil does not break me out. I applied it around my "drier" area, like my neck, my chin and my jaws mostly.

Pros:
A little goes a long way since it is a thick cream
No fragrance!
So moisturizing - suitable for night time
Does not clog pores

Cons:
Quite pricey
Not sure if it's really effective in lifting and firming my skin

Final thoughts: Even though I'm not sure if it's really lifting or firming my skin, I kinda enjoyed using it. My skin feels plumped the next day and I do not have issues with it. For now, I'm not gonna repurchase it just because I want a better night cream that really do what it claims. It is still a good night cream, it's just not enough for me.

Rating: ★★★☆☆
