Review: Essence Forbidden Volume Mascara

So good, it should be forbidden! Dramatic volume without clumping. the conic fiber brush of the forbidden volume mascara creates incredibly voluminous lashes – with just one application.

So I think I bought this mascara like for so long ago hahaha typical Pah. I bought so many mascaras and I usually keep them until my opened mascaras has dried out.

The Forbidden Volume has different types of mascaras, I bought the basic one or the "original" one (kot?) because the mascara wand looked simple and easy. LOL. The other 2 was like fiber and the other one, I cannot remember what it was like.

So the packaging of this mascara is just like the Essence Plump No Clump. Well it's like the basic Essence mascara packaging... I think so. LOL. But I haven't seen the Plump No Clump... Dah discontinued ke? Uwaaa I love that mascara. T_T

Now, the mascara's consistency. It has a dry formula but it's not clumpy. As long as I have been using it, I don't have any issues with it but since it is a dry formula, it can get a bit flakey. I'm pretty sure most of Essence's mascaras has same formula and whatnot so yeah.

The mascara wand is a straight cone shaped wand, almost similar to the Essence Lash Princess mascara but I think the Lash Princess bristles are shorter and closed together and wand is longer. OMG I really do not know how to describe it but it's totally different. Heh. Ok just refer to pic below k. LOL

Lashes with no mascara on


Applied 1 coat on my right eye (your left)

1 coat and you're ready to go weh! Let's see what happens when I put a second coat


2 coats on my right eye (your left)

GIRL MUH LASHES LOOKED SO FRICKIN UNREAL YO

WELL LET'S ADD ANOTHER COAT HUH?!?!?!


3 coats on my right eye (your left) and 1 coat with very minimal product (I wiped the wand) on my left eye (your right)

Even with 3 coats, it didn't turn out to be bad. It's like the good kind of clumpy ya know?

OH YOU KNOW WHAT LET'S USE ANOTHER MASCARA ON MY LEFT EYE


Not adding any extra coats on my right eye (your left) and I applied 1 coat of the Essence Get BIG Lashes mascara on my left eye.

HOHHHHHH LOOK AT MUH LASHES


Looks like I'm wearing falsies but nooooooooooooooo. Biasalah I kalau pakai mascara memang messy ha ha ha


Pros:
CHEAP
Easy to use
Bristles are not too spikey
Gives so much volume and curl
Not too clumpy

Cons:
A bit flakey but not gonna ruin your makeup

Final thoughts: Uhm hello. This girl likes, no scratch that, LOOOVVVEESSS this mascara so very the much! I looooveee how it looks on my lashes. It's volumizing, lengthening and curling my lashes pretty damn well! Well, I can't promise it will work on you but this is a great mascara. LOVE IT.
