Review: Yves Rocher Ovale Lifting Redensifying Night Care

Assalamualaikum wbt

Hello beautiful ladies! How are yah?

Okay before I started, I know I promised a comparison review of eye creams. Still testing and I'm giving it some time just to, you know, confirming whether it works/moisturizes enough or not. Lol. So sekarang ni aku nak review a night cream. It is the Yves Rocher ... I purchased this like mid last year I think. Bought it on the Yves Rocher site plus ada 70% off so... What the heck. This product is supposed to be for older women, 35-50 yo. Hahhahahahaa. But you know hey it's a night cream and it doesn't have retinol so that's okay I guess. Lol

REVIEW

Okay masa mula-mula aku beli tu, aku tak suka sangat sebab aku rasa macam a bit oily (baru baca ingredient ada soy oil rupanya -___-"). Then I stopped using it lepas tu yang aku beli Yves Rocher Dermo-Care tuh. So aku pakai yang tu sampai habis. Lepas tu aku ada beli night cream lagi. But that one is not moisturizing enough. I will post a review once I've used that one up. Need to experiment a lil bit more.

Since this one is for older women, aku macam a bit hesitant nak pakai, takut ada retinol. Then belek-belek takde. Ok selamat. Lol. The retail price for this actually out of price range. If I'm not mistaken the retail price is RM139. For me it's freakin expensive. I won't ever spend that much on a night cream and thank God it was on sale, 70% off babe! Hahahah! So after diskaun pon mcm less than RM50 (in my price range of course lol).

At first I hated this, as I mentioned it is a bit oily. For cream/moisturizer macam ni, aesthetician advised kena pakai something moisturizes and yang masuk dalam skin baru pakai yang ni. Kalau pakai ni on top of any other moisturizer yang cepat meresap, it would be a waste. The oil in the night cream will lock in/out any moisture. Faham kan? Entah. Hahaha. (I noticed the oils in the ingredients are mostly moderate comedogenic rating, maybe it'll clog your pores)

Okay sambung citer balik. So aku start pakai balik night cream nih. Honestly I didn't really follow the instructions. This is a lifting cream, which got a few good reviews on the site. Plus I am using the Nutox Serum Concentrate so it is kinda hard to tell whether this works on me or not. But hey, again I didn't follow the instructions. Lol. So after a few nights applying this cream, I actually like it a lil bit. Just a bit. Not too much. I really love how my skin feels the next morning. It is soooooo frigginnnn softtttt like a baby's bums. I think it's because of the oil in the night cream. I can say that its really moisturizing though.

The smell pulak, not that weird. It's a bit orange-y. I like it though. Not too strong. Yves Rocher's creams memang bau pelik sikit but I don't really mind. Huhu. As for the packaging, its pretty bulky and its like a weird half circle kinda jar. Hahahhaa.

Overall, maybe it works, maybe not. Love this even though my age is not really suitable for this cream. LOL. Almost run out of it, but I can't seem to find it on the Malaysian Yves Rocher website anymore. Maybe it is still available at the stores, IDK.

My rating: ★★★★ because my skin feels really soft the next day LOL

*****side note*****

By the way, if you weren't confident or kinda sceptical on which oil is good or not on your skin, you can check the comedogenic ratings. Some oils are good for your skin and won't clog your pores. Apa-apa pon cuba cek list tu dulu. 4-5 rating tu kira tinggi but then as I understand dia ada yang rendah and tinggi depending on apa kebenda tah I'm not a freaking chemist so... Yeah. And also I would like to mention here, talc is one of the substance that will clog your pores. So anyone yang pakai baby powder dekat muka, better stop lah. Hahahaha. I know its the easiest thing to pakai (aku pon pemalas jugak kadang2), just use a loose powder for face pon dah okay. I know the price pon berbeza than baby powder but you don't want to magnify your big blackheads around your face kan? You can't really make your pores looks smaller with makeup, the most important step is to cleanse. Removing blackheads frequently will help the pores to become smaller. If the pores were clogged, tu yang nampak macam besar gedabak tuh. Just use anything that will remove the blackheads and whatnot. Eggwhites and milk mixture is the best alternative for nose strips. If rajin lah nak beat the eggwhites with milk then should be ok lah kot. Kalau malas, beli jelah nose strips. Satu lagi, can try using clay mask for a whole week. But clay mask is gonna suck all of the oil on your face and its going to dry your skin. So after a clay mask treatment, you should apply moisturizer (very creamy one) to restore the oil in your skin. This clay mask method is NOT SUITABLE for peeps with sensitive skin as it's sucking out the gunks on your face, your face will be red as a tomato I tell ya. And also takut lepas tu terus breakout teruk. Then again, it won't work out for semua orang. Yang penting, consistency. 1. It's hard to take a review seriously when every sentence ends with "lol" or "Ha ha ha."
Did a giggly school girl write it or a serious reviewer?
