Review: St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub

Assalamualaikum.

Hi guys! How are ya? Ok.

So this product was suggested by a twitter friend, as I was looking for a mild scrub. Because I have sensitive skin and I don't want to spend too much on a face scrub. As I mentioned before in my previous posts, I really love The Body Shop one, the seaweed exfoliater. But it is just too friggin expensive for me, I mean I can find a better face scrub with less price and bigger tube, right? Hahaha.

REVIEW

I've been using this scrub for a few months now. So this scrub contained Salicylic Acid (1%) which is good if you have acne-prone skin. Supposedly to "calm" your skin and treat your acne. Dekat tube tu mentioned "Use daily for best results". But I don't really use it everyday, because it is a motherfriggin scrub. LOL. I noticed if I used it when I have breakouts, it kinda calmed them down a bit. Yes. A bit. Kinda on the fence with this scrub actually. I don't really know whether I like it or not. Hahaha. But it's okay I guess. I don't really like how my skin feels after using it, it kinda dries out my skin. But then again, it did calm them down. So... Yeah.

Poopy color LOL

The texture is quite densed, but not harsh. So I guess you can try using it everyday. I just won't use it everyday because it's not really that gentle. Again, not harsh but it's not gentle. Huhu. This scrub is only available at Guardian Pharmacy I think. Tak pernah pulak aku nampak dekat Watson's. Retail price is RM28.50. Almost half of the price for The Body Shop ones. LOL. It's kinda hard to compare it with the Body Shop Seaweed Exfoliater because that one is friggin amazing. I really love it. And it is a gentle scrub/exfoliater. Haha. Ok maybe can compare it with Clinelle Skin Smoothing Scrub. It is much cheaper but I don't know. Rasa macam ada minty feeling. My face kinda hurts, not in a good way. I don't know. Maybe that's because I rarely use that one. Hahaha.

Overall, I think it helps my skin a bit, but I hate how my skin feels after scrubbed with it. Will I recommend this? Yes. Will I repurchase this? Maybe. Yeah we'll see.

★★★ sebab... On the fence bout this scrub. LOL

Thanks for reading!
