Makeup Look of the Week (1st week of April 2016)

Assalamualaikum and hello my beautiful people!

Supposedly, wanted to publish this post next week but I just, what the hell, I'm gonna post it tonight! If you followed me on Snapchat, my empties post is actually scheduled for today but whatever. I'm a rebel. LOL. Let's start. Jaksjdlasd

This post is gon be long. Go grab some popcorn

I wanted to do some blue eyeshadow look but then I'm not creative enough and no blue eyeshadows. LOL. Only have a few but ehhh, not blue enough. Anyways, I really wanted to play around the Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Hammered (MY FAVOURITE) and also wanted to play with the Sleek i-Divine palette in Vintage Romance. I didn't really know what eyeshadow look I could create with it, like I said, I'm not creative. Then I swatched one of the shade from the palette, "Lust in LA". Temptalia described it as "a dark, chocolate brown with warm, reddish-orange undertones and a frosted finish". Aku tengok macam ada green sikit kan? Entah la I could be wrong. Haha. So this shade is actually the highlight of this look I've created.

Tried to see if there's any different if I use different base... Looked pretty much the same tho :/

(T-B: Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil - Iced Mocha, Maybelline Color Tattoo - Bad to the Bronze, Maybelline Color Tattoo - Inked in Pink, Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil - Milk, Colourpop - Hammered)

FYI, swatches on top is the eyeshadow Lust in LA without any base

First, I set my eyelids with the Revlon Loose Powder and I used Benefit Hoola Bronzer in my crease today. (from a few makeup tutorials that I've watched, green blends in better with warm brown)

Applied Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Hammered all over my eyelids

Applied Lust in LA on top of the Colourpop Hammered

Blend them together using Benefit Hoola Bronzer and then deepen it a bit with the shade "Propose in Prague" from Vintage Romance palette. (refer my right eye, your left LOL)

I didn't blend em using clean brush so... That's why it's a lil bit much on the crease

Temptalia described Propose in Prague as "a medium-dark brown with warm, reddish-orange undertones and a matte finish".

To deepen my outer crease/corner even more, I use the shades "Boxed" and "Noir" from the Oh So Special palette. Also smoked them out on my lower lash line

Oh and I uploaded a video on Youtube of me doing my eyebrows... So yeah. You can view it here.

I tepek again Lust in LA just to make it pop, all the blending stuff made the shadow not appear so shimmery

Applied few coats of mascara and all

Used the highlight shades to highlight my forehead, undereyes and nose

Used Mac Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle for my cheekbones, browbone and cupid's bow and a lil bit on the chin

Lip combo: Golden Rose Lipliner in 228, Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick in no 27 and top it off with no 30.

Finished look. Tadaaaa

So yeah. I hope you guys like this? I looooove this makeup look... Turned out pretty good. Okay. Thank you for reading ? LOL
