Review: Yves Rocher Pure System Clarifying Toner

So, I was looking for a toner that can help my acne prone skin. It sucks ya know. I bought Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner everytime pakai je mesti break out gila-gila punya. Bak kata orang kampung aku, macam tengah Spring season puler.

I sometimes love to browse Yves Rocher's website because you know, sometimes memang they have stuff on sale like almost 70% pon ada. (This and this I bought them masa sale, 50% & 70% people) So I was browsing through, coincidentally ada sale jugak on that day (bought this in December along with the eye gel and Sebo Vegetal Purifying Mask - review coming soon). I cannot remember how much was the discount maybe 15%-25%, it wasn't that much but still ada discount so yeah. HAHAHA.

REVIEW

So, the first day I tried this toner I was like, hmm ni bukan toner doh! It is almost like a clear gel consistency, which is quite heavy and thick for me to apply this on the day time. Oh man, I will look like a frying pan lah kalau pakai ni siang hari. AND, IT BROKE ME OUT. Like omg cystic acne everywhere. Aku dah pelik dah apa ke he nya jerawat banyak beno. Bila stop pakai ni, teruih takde acne apa semua okay balik. Then, aku tengok video pasai trying on skincare products. Dia kata when you're trying new products, give them at least 10 days. And if after 10 days you still have breakouts and stuff, meaning that products are not suitable for your skin. So I gave it a try for 10 days and voila. After 5-6 days macam tu, dah takde breakouts. I was so happy ya know. LOL.

Feels like a clear gel consistency but when you rub it your hand, it's like it melts in your hands, I don't know LOL sumthin' like dat

So I have been using this toner for 55 days to be exact, of course I keep it in my phone bila aku start pakai ni LOL. I know tak cukup 2 months, tapi almost ok. Hahaha. So after 55 days of using this toner, to be honest with you guys, I really love this toner. And I'm not sure if it helps with my skin or not but I just love how it feels on my skin after I applied it to my face. Oh my lord my skin feels so soft and smooth like a baby's bum. Holy moly. And you know what, I am starting to get obsessed with gel skincare products. I just bought the Neutrogena Hydra Boost Water Gel and of course the Bourjois Healthy Mix Gel Foundation and dammit they both smell so freaking nice! And this toner smells effin nice too!

And you guys, you know what? I use this toner every single night for 55 days straight, and you see lah, baru 25% used up. This toner memang can last such a long time because it is so effin thick, you don't have to use it too much because as I've mentioned on the pic above, it's kinda melt into your hands once you rub it in. I don't really know how to explain to you guys. LOL.

Price wise, it is quite pricey. RM39, now it's RM45 (incl GST) for a bottle of 150ml/5 fl oz. But you see lah, you see. Almost use it 2 months it's not even half way you know! Plus I bought this on sale, I am almost positive I bought this for RM29 or less. I guess. LOL.

I'm not sure what it does on my skin because my skin is acting like a beeyotch now. Breakouts everywhere, entah ler. Stress kot. LOL. I don't know if I should recommend it or not. LOL

UPDATE (15 SEP 2015): Guys, I've been using this same bottle for 7 months now and still have like 20% of product left. Guys, worth investing in this product wey aku punya toner mana penah tahan lebih 2 bulan weh ahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahhsaidjaskdlasdas
